Is global warming a hoax?

On most issues, I agree with fellow-columnist Herman Tiu Laurel, but I think he’s mistaken on climate change.
In his column in OpinYon (“Who’s to save the People?”) on Sept. 26, Herman writes that the theory of manmade global warming’s computer model failed to match reality. A “decade of debates” has, he says, demonstrated that “man was never the greatest generator of carbon,” and it has been found that the activity of the sun has driven climate fluctuations such as the Medieval Warm Period (950-1100 A.D.) and the Little Ice Age (1300-1850 A.D.).
But solar activity is only one of several theories put forward regarding these two fluctuations. Let’s take the Little Ice Age as an example. In fact, the solar activity theory is far from being a “finding,” as the link between reduced sunspot activity and lower temperatures on Earth is still not fully comprehended..... MORE

ako rin. halos sa lahat ng isyu nakikiayon ako kay ka mentong. pero hindi sa climate change dahil sobrang erratic ang klima/panahon ngayon at noong kabataan ko ay HINDI ganito kainit o nakakahapdi ng balat ang sikat ng araw.
