Former Pagcor chairman, two sons summoned to answer malversation raps
By Benjamin B. Pulta 11/03/2011State lawyers have summoned former gaming czar Efraim Genuino and his two sons over malversation charges stemming from rice donations and funds of over P3 million used during their election campaigns last year.
In a subpoena, the controversial former Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. (Pagcor) chairman and his sons Anthony and Erwin were ordered to appear before the Department of Justice (DoJ) for preliminary investigation of the complaint filed by Pagcor last July.
Investigating Prosecutor Mary Jane Sytat directed the Genuinos to submit their answer to the charges during hearing set at 8:30 a.m. today (Nov. 3)..... MORE
