Another priest in Mindanao has been murdered — the third such among the priests who have a membership to the Pontifical Institute of Foreign Missions (PIFM) and all we will hear from Malacañang are the same things, such as condemning such an act and vowing to bring to justice the perpetrators, all of which we have heard before and all of which are meaningless, since such cases are hardly ever solved by this administration.
Italian Catholic priest Fausto Tentorio, who spent three decades working in violence-plagued Mindanao was shot dead inside his church compound on Monday.
Police said an unknown gunman shot Tentorio, 59, eight times at his PIFM parish in the remote farming town of Arakan on Monday morning as he got into his car.
