DoJ clears Hataman in less than 24 hours
By Gerry Baldo 10/21/2011The reported choice of President Aquino for the post of officer-in-charge (OIC) in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) was yesterday immediately cleared by the Department of Justice (DoJ) as it quickly dismissed motion for reconsideration against former Rep. Mujiv Hataman and cleared him of any and all criminal liability.
But Hataman lamented the alleged demolition job hatched by politicians eyeing the post in the region.
According to Hataman, old politicians in the region are trying to discredit him even as he denied he is being groomed to be the OIC of the ARMM.
“There is no truth to talk that I am a frontrunner and favorite (of the Palace) since I have not even been called for a meeting with our President on this issue,” Hataman said..... MORE

"Asked about the complaint against him regarding the 2007 Batasan bombing, Hataman said that it is part of a demolition job hatched by “political kingpins” in the region who are interested in the ARMM following the Supreme Court ruling allowing for the postponement of the ARMM elections and the subsequent appointment of an OIC."
