RP Embassy in US makes representations for Pinoy teachers in Maryland
07/11/2011The Philippine Embassy in Washington said it will make representations with the US government to seek better protection for Filipino teachers and hopefully retain the employment of at least 500 of them who may be out of job soon due to a hiring restriction imposed by the state of Maryland.
According to the embassy, teaching jobs for Filipinos may be adversely affected as the Prince George’s County Public School where they work can no longer afford to pay their salaries..... MORE
