UAE offers loans to OFWs — Labor secretary

Labor Secretary Rosalinda Baldoz announced that the United Arab Emirates will offer overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) and their families low-cost loans under the Emirates’ Wage Protection Scheme.

She made the announcement after meeting with Minister of Labor of the United Arab Emirates Sarq Ghobash where both attended the 100th International Labor Organization (ILO) conference.
