Terrorist group bombs CoA office in North Cotabato
06/28/2011Two weeks after the United States issued a travel advisory against the Philippines, an improvised explosive device (IED), believed to have been planted by terrorists linked to the Jemaah Islamiyah (JI),
exploded at the entrance of Commission on Audit (COA) office in North Cotabato province yesterday morning.
Army 6th Infantry Division (ID) spokesman Col. Prudencio Asto said that the IED blasted the COA satellite office located along the national highway in Barangay Amas in Kidapawan City around 8:20 a.m.
