House revives Anti-dynasty bill
By Gerry Baldo 06/02/2011The House of Representatives revived the Anti-Political Dynasty bill after years of being kept dormant in the archives during the past six congresses starting with the 9th Congress during the Ramos administration.
Cavite Rep. Elpidio Barzaga, chairman of the House committee on suffrage and electoral reforms, said his panel is off to a good start when it asked the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) to submit a list of politicians related to other leaders holding different public posts.

It will be shelved in the same manner as it was shelved 6 congresses ago. Those animals are now firmly entrenched. Staunch opposition is what awaits this.
But I like this bill, I support it, and I want it enacted into law with stiff penalties for offenders, with fangs preferably and not a dilluted version.
