CA confirms Del Rosario, De los Reyes as Cabinet heads

Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Secretary Albert del Rosario and Secretary Virgilio de los Reyes of the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) yesterday breezed through the powerful Commission on Appointments (CA) along with 21 ambassadors and 39 other officials.

In a rare occasion, the bicameral appointments body held plenary also yesterday to confirm Del Rosario’ and De los Reyes’ nomination, rather than wait for today’s proceedings.
