Lawmakers want stiffer penalties imposed on reckless PUV drivers, negligent operators

Two lawmakers from the Visayas have raised the urgent need to review the country’s penal laws that are related to road accidents as they noted there might be a need to impose stricter penalties on public utility vehicle (PUV) drivers and operators involved in fatal accidents.
