Army creates two probe teams to investigate torture video
By Mario J. Mallari 03/26/2011The Army leadership has created two investigating teams to separately probe the “torture video” involving candidate soldiers of the 9th Infantry Division (ID) and identify those responsible in the malpractice for possible sanctions.
Military Human Rights Office (HRO) chief Col. Domingo Tutaan said Army chief Lt. Gen. Arturo Ortiz tapped Col. Onesimo Banaga, Army HR chief, and Col. Benedicto Jose, the Army’s Provost Marshal, to dig deeper into the issue.
