PNP chief downplays destab plot amid rise in car theft-killings

According to Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Director General Raul Bacalzo, police intelligence agents have not monitored any destabilization plan.
“This is not part of a destabilization plot,” he told reporters at Camp Crame in Quezon City.
Concerns over destabilization attempts arose after Rep. Joseph Victor “JV” Ejercito the other day said he was informed that there is a strong belief among the intelligence sector that the recent series of high-profile criminal cases was meant to discredit the Aquino administration..... MORE
