Include ex-AFP brass in Garcia probe — troops

Mallari 01/17/2011Not only former Defense Secretary Angelo Reyes but Armed Forces chiefs-of-staff under his term should be included in a deeper probe of the plunder case against former Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) comptroller retired Maj. Gen. Carlos Garcia, military sources said, adding a half-baked investigation may spur further unrest in the military.
“AFP corruption will remain alive unless swift action is done to overturn Garcia deal and cases filed versus ex-DND chief, the five CSAFPs (chiefs of staff, AFP), ex-J6 (comptroller) Ligot,” said a source who requested anonymity.
Former AFP chiefs of staff who served under Reyes’ watch as defense chief were Diomedio Villanueva, Roy Cimatu, Benjamin Defensor, Dionisio Santiago and Narciso Abaya. Abaya was the AFP chief of staff when Garcia’s son was caught with $100,000 at a United States airport.

Angie and Roy have some things in common.
Both served in the military.
Their spouses are from the same province.
Their sons are thrusted into politics.
One was seen leading the crowd to Malacañang during EDSA 2, while the other was the CSAFP who withrew support of his CnC. Same side. Wow! Hanep! Sino gagagohin nila? Ikaw.
Congressman go less investigated Bong Pineda, Aniano Disierto and exposed names of drug lords that made them hide deeper, and yet many more. None of them were punnished to no surprise. Today he wants a piece of the action on Garcia and wants a large chunk of Reyes. Sounds like two birds with one stone. Is it helping the case or is go less obfuscating it? You can't blame anyone for thinking that just by his record.
Now the money.
Kakarampot lang para sa mayaman. Of the 303 million only half was reported to have been returned. What about the other half? Naliliitan ka ba sa halagang 135 million? Thats a lot of bribe money to go around.
Let no stone be left unturned in the pursuit of truth and justice. Pero wag sana gamolin ng mga trapo tulad ni roy. Talo ka talaga dyan.
Who messed up? Why? And how can it be prevented? Then the retribution comes next.
Let us all be vigillant on Stinky Dinky and her spouse, Voltz Gazmin, the Abad's and those who are rouges in government.
