Estradas, party, unperturbed by fair poll law ruling Frontrunners slam celebs wipeout By Angie M. Rosales 02/12/2010 Survey frontrunners shouldn’t have been concerned over the recent ruling of the Commission on Elections (Comelec) directing celebrity endorsers and media personalities of political candidates to make their choice of either resigning or taking a leave of absence from their showbiz jobs or sticking to their shows but not taking on endorsement jobs from politicians. After all, they are frontrunners, and have claimed many times to have the vote of the electorate, on their own steam. But they showed their alarm yesterday, as the camp of Liberal Party (LP) standard bearer Sen. Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino and the camp of Nacionalista Party presidential candidate Sen. Manuel “Manny” Villar, cried foul over the ruling of the poll body, following the proviso of the Fair Elections Act.
