Magdalo leader to make courtesy call to Noynoy
By Aytch S. de la Cruz 12/23/2010Malacañang is working out on a possible courtesy call of Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV with President Aquino before the end of the year after the former’s petition for a temporary liberty was granted by the Makati Regional Trial Court (RTC) last Monday.
Presidential Communications Development and Strategic Planning (PCDSP) Secretary Ricky Carandang relayed to reporters yesterday that there were indeed plans being cooked for a possible meeting between Aquino and Trillanes soon but that hasn’t been scheduled yet.
This developed as Trillanes reportedly announced that he will be meeting with Aquino after paying courtesy call with Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile who, incidentally, was among the 17 senators that lobbied for his amnesty.
“As far as I understand, there has been no conversation between the President and Trillanes at this point. I spoke to some of the colleagues of Trillanes and they would like to see the President before the end of the year to make a courtesy call but that has not been set up yet,” Carandang said in a phone patch interview..... Boy he learns fast. Triller is now a true blue politician. I wonder what surpirses his masters at the senate are cooking for him. In this world, and there is no other, there is no such thing as "free lunch". What will they make him do next?
