Jennylyn Mercado speaks up on MMFF issue

MANILA, Philippines - Jennylyn Mercado, who plays the title role in Cinemabuhay/TV 5’s entry to the ongoing 2010 Metro Manila Film Festival, "Rosario," admits feeling "hurt" over not being nominated for Best Actress. 

Jennylyn was one of the two most popular choices for Best Actress, the other being Ai Ai delas Alas, who won for her performance in Star Cinema’s “Ang Tanging Ina (Last Na ‘To!).” Her not being nominated in the category irked her fans and supporters so much that some of them walked out during the Awards Night.....
