Edsa spirit dead FRONTLINE Ninez Cacho-Olivares 02/27/2010 Resurrecting the Edsa spirit is a useless exercise, even if the Yellows want to make it appear that the Edsa spirit is alive and well, with the Liberal Party (LP)’s concert staged at the Araneta Coliseum Thursday. What was staged was nothing but a political rally attended by supporters of the LP candidates, led by their standard bearers Noynoy Aquino and Mar Roxas. One hardly tries to recollect or revive the Edsa spirit through a concert or the yellow color, because Edsa 1986 was never a concert or even an entertainment production. It was all about the spirit of the people who were done with the Marcos dictatorship, looking toward change for a better future, under a democratic leadership....
