Defending legacy EDITORIAL Click to enlarge 02/14/2010 When Gloria hired a new mouthpiece in Gary Olivar, something intelligent started coming out of Malacañang. Instead of the usual absurdities and lies to defend Gloria of which the public has grown tired, Olivar was giving arguments that at least sounded valid and did not feel like a brainless spin — that is, until lately. Gloria appears desperate in casting her economic legacy for posterity and future ambitions that this move needed such costly advertisements, both in broadcast and in print, as if she again is angling for another term extension....
