Pangilinan’s LP bloc cracks, goes for JPE
| By Angie M. Rosales 07/23/2010 The fat lady hasn’t sung as yet, but it looks like incumbent Senate President Juan Ponce-Enrile has emerged as the choice of both the Liberal Party (LP) bloc members and the Nacionalista Party (NP) bloc members, with both major blocs showing big cracks by way of the waning of their support for their candidates for the Senate presidency. Enrile yesterday confirmed published reports of his having been approached by his peers to again assume the post of the Senate presidency.
