Rivals: Manual count Noynoy’s trending tool

04/28/2010 The manual parallel count proposed by business and civic groups which are known supporters of the Liberal Party (LP) is being pushed mainly to benefit the LP presidential bet Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III, LP’s rival political groups charged yesterday. Nacionalista Party senatorial candidate Gilbert Remulla said the Makati Business Club’s (MBC) proposal is susceptible to cheating much like what happened in the 2004 elections, which was said to have been rigged in favor of President Arroyo. Remulla added the people who engineered the defeat of opposition bet Fernando Poe Jr. then and those who railroaded the proclamation of President Arroyo in 2004 are now in the fold of the LP.
