Liberal Party (LP) bets led by Noynoy Aquino and Mar Roxas pledge to bring about change, should they win Malacañang in May. But that really is an empty pledge that is always being made by most, if not all, politicians and candidates because even as they make that promise of ushering in a dramatic change in government, such as doing away with corruption and even improving the lives of the poor, they also know that they can’t bring these changes about as the only change will be a change of faces — and at that, maybe even no change in faces from the current administration — at least in the case of a Noynoy Aquino presidency — should he ever win, which is doubted. And it is doubted because, for one, the LP lacks the machinery needed to get the votes going. Sure the yellows have the yellow media rooting for the LP presidential tandem, as evidenced by their bias as well as their penchant for killing negative stories on Noynoy and Mar, and coming up with all the positive and exaggerated reports on him and his team, but not even the media can get the electorate to go out and vote for their yellow bets.....
