Panfilo “Ping” Lacson has flown the coop, and he admitted that he left the country to evade the arrest warrant against him, should it come, after the judge determines whether there is probable cause to charge him. Lacson said in a statement that while he took flight due to the arrest over the double murder charge filed against him by the Department of Justice (DoJ), he also stated that in his case, flight is not an admission of guilt, as he is more concerned about his personal safety and security. The senator also said that the charges leveled against him were due to his being a fierce critic of the Arroyo administration....
