Bull-headedness it surely is, on the part of the poll body, to insist on holding nationwide automated polls, even when it could have followed the automation law that called for pilot automated polls in specified areas, both in the cities and provinces, prior to holding a nationwide automated election.

One does not run, before one even learns how to walk, and this surely applies to the Commission on Elections (Comelec) officials who appeared to be so blinded by the huge P11.3-billion budget for poll automation that it wanted to implement automated polls nationwide, despite their being clueless, not to mention inexperienced and naturally, inept as always.... ABU GOSH — At the risk of whipping up discord with Lebanon, an Arab-Israeli village is planning to make the world’s biggest hummus, a humble chickpea dip that stirs passions across the Middle East.
